The AISL Harrow Innovation Team continued to impress, this time earning a prestigious accolade at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions in Switzerland. The team’s pioneering project, “Eco-Algae Digestion Technology for Kitchen Waste Recycling,” was awarded the coveted gold medal, underscoring the school’s remarkable achievements in STEAM education.
Competing against 1,035 inventions from 38 nations, the AISL Harrow team emerged as the youngest gold medal recipients, asserting the prowess of “Created in China” on the global “Olympics of Invention” stage.
At Harrow Hong Kong Children School, we prioritize a multidisciplinary, inquiry-based learning approach that empowers students to apply their STEAM knowledge in addressing real-world challenges. As shared by their teacher, Antony, “At the expo, the students communicated fluently in English with participants from various countries, confidently displaying their talents and promoting a positive image of Chinese students. Their performance made us all incredibly proud.”
Through this practical learning and the cultivation of innovative thinking, the school has demonstrated that its students can not only excel on the international stage, but also contribute to the creation of China and lead the future of sustainable development.
